I was thinking a betta, otos, endlers and possibly neon tetras or something similar but I wasn't sure if the endlers could go with a betta. They all get along well and the bettas don't fight just a lot of pregnant fish with the livebearers. Thankfully, the LFS only had males, so I won't have to worry about being overrun with fry! They are interesting, colorful fish that I am enjoying keeping very much- their constant breeding and "low fuss" care serves as a sort of ego boost … Mine didn't though:-) I also used to keep killifish in the tank, they ate some of the new born's and kept the population down, there was neon's in the tank too, they schooled with the endlers when there was just males.
